APPLICATION GUIDE Indirect Evaporative Air Conditioner Models CW-H CW-H GENERAL Climate Wizard is an ??Indirect Evaporative Air Cooler ? that is capable of delivering cooled air with no added moisture at temperatures that are very similar to those produced by refrigerated air conditioners The Climate Wizard comprises of one backward curved high pressure centrifugal fan directly connected to an electronically commutated motor ECM a multi-patented heat exchanger core a water reservoir and water distribution system including circulating centrifugal pump s automatic chlorination device and an auto water management feature Climate Wizard cannot remove moisture but it does not add any moisture Climate Wizard is manufactured in two con ?gurations - HORIZONTAL and VERTICAL This Application Guide refers to the HORIZONTAL con ?guration only The heat exchanger core may comprise of or sections The -section model is the CW-H with nominal cooling capacity of KW The -section model is the CW-H with nominal cooling capacity of KW Cooling capacity is calculated at inlet conditions of C dry-bulb and C dewpoint temperatures in accordance with Australian Standard AS For other conditions refer tables on page This capacity applies only when the Climate Wizard is being used in Stand Alone Cooling applications For Cold Front Cooling higher capacities apply - refer table on page Not all the inlet air is delivered into the building Inside the Climate Wizard the air is divided into two streams One stream is supercooled and delivered into the building and the second stream is used to intensify the wet-bulb depression is supersaturated and discharged to atmosphere along with all the heat that has been removed from the dry fresh air stream EXHAUST AIR WARM MOIST SUPPLY AIR COOL DRY INLET AMBIENT AIR ?
