EDDY FIRMIN GREG PAYCE GUILLAUME LACHAPELLE Janv - févr vol no MOT DES DIRECTEURS A WORD FROM THE DIRECTORS La nouvelle année est un moment charnière important pour nous nous en pro ?tons pour faire un bilan de l ? année ce qui nous permet de modi ?er nos objectifs au besoin Nous sommes très heureux des résultats et des projets que nous avons réalisés en avec une participation à quatre foires et la présentation de expositions dont cinq à Berlin Nous entamons donc la nouvelle année avec contentement le gros projet de cette année sera sûrement la ième édition de la Biennale d ? art contemporain autochtone BACA nous éprouvons beaucoup de ?erté à voir ce projet que nous avons initié en évoluer et devenir une entité indépendante avec une ampleur toujours plus grande Pour ce qui est de notre espace à Berlin nous n ? avons pas renouvelé notre bail et avons décidé d ? opter pour une nouvelle formule dont nous vous ferons part dans les mois à venir Mais notre désir de développer le marché européen demeure une priorité nous serons d ? ailleurs à Londres en janvier pour participer à London Art Fair nous y présenterons le travail de Judith Berry en solo L ? année sera certes bien remplie comme en fait foi la programmation de janvier Nous sommes ?ers d ? accueillir en ce début d ? année Eddy Firmin Guillaume Lachapelle ainsi que Greg Payce récipiendaire du Prix SaidyeBronfman en Ce sera avec un immense plaisir que nous vous accueillerons à partir du janvier pour débuter la nouvelle année du bon pied Bien à vous Rhéal Olivier Lanthier François St-Jacques The new year is an important turning point for us as we take the opportunity to take stock of the past year which allows us to readjust the situation and modify our objectives if necessary We are very pleased with the results and projects we achieved in with participation in four fairs and the presentation of exhibitions including ?ve in Berlin We are therefore entering the new year with satisfaction this year ? s major project will surely be the th edition of the Contemporary Native Art Biennial BACA we are very proud to see this project which we initiated in evolve and become an independent entity with an ever-increasing scope As for our space in Berlin we have not renewed our lease and have decided to opt for a new formula which we will inform you about in the coming months But our desire to develop the European market remains a priority and we will be in London in January to participate in London Art Fair where we will present Judith Berry ? s work as a solo artist The year will certainly be well- ?lled as the January program shows We are proud to welcome Eddy Firmin Guillaume Lachapelle and Greg Payce the recipient of the Saidye Bronfman Award It will be with great pleasure that we will welcome you
