1. Give at least 3 objectives. a. To answer the research questions b. To understand the behaviour of the chosen SHS students who engage themselves in smoking. c. To help develop tobacco control policies to reduce the youths who’ve been using the [product] 2. Explain the importance of the study. a. Where it can be used?  This study can be used in developing and tightening smoking policies in the chosen setting and especially all through the whole nation. b. Who will benefit?  The beneficiary of it would be the youth specifically those adolescent smokers that needs a lot of awareness in at young age so that they wouldn’t end up doing it all throughout their adulthood and then of course regretting the effects of it through the remaining days of their life. They’d be the beneficiary because aside from informing them about the harmful disease they could get in smoking it would also help to enlighten them that the society wants them to be in a good state that all the acts is for their good anyway and let them know that they’ll be always a door to change and start over again and begin a good and healthy life. c. How possible is our study  If I would rate our topic 1 out of 10 with 10 being the highest of course, the possibility of our study would be 8 out of 10 because for me I think we’d do a good job conducting it because all of us agreed to do so and the 2 points would be the limitations that we would fail to face and needs a lot of rephrasing. d. How can our study benefit the environment and the society?  This study would benefit the environment and the society in a way that it would help lessen the smokers wandering around the public place wherein a lot of individuals will inhale the harmful chemicals coming from the smoke of the cigarette that could probably cause them to be the second- hand smokers, it would reduce the bad chemicals coming from the cigarette that could affect the individuals around the area and the living organisms like animals and plants such as trees. 3. Why did you choose this study?  We choose this study because this is our line of interest of knowing the stories behind stories situations and also by observing the day to day life of the community we have noticed a lot of alarming situations been happening and one them is the increase of smokers specifically that increase is mostly from the young adults who we address as SHS students. 4. What are the limitations you’ve faced in writing this topic? 5. How the study can be a solution to a problem?  To be honest I couldn’t really tell that this study would solve the problem because most probably it’s more on the helping and developing side than the resolving side, just like I’ve said it would help develop the tobacco policies to reduce or stop the increase rate of smokers. As for me this study would need a lot of improvement to solve the problem like widen the target participants like the whole country would participate which would be a hard work for us especially where just students. uploads/Ingenierie_Lourd/ guide 37 .pdf
